£1 School Swimming

Thanks to national funding we are able to offer school swimming sessions for a hugely subsidised cost of £1 per pupil per week (including transport).

Sessions include:

•    1 session per week for a half term

•    Pupils taught in groups of 12. 

•    Open to any pupils who have not met the 25m target (can be a mixture of year groups).

•    Qualified instructors and lifeguards provided.

•    All transport provided.

•    Awards provided.

Programme conditionsThis programme is being funded through our Top Up swimming initiative. The sessions are therefore subject to the following conditions:

•    The same pupils attend every week (unless there is a genuine reason for absence).

•    Assessment data (before and after results) are sent to College Street no later than 1 week after the 6-week programme has finished.

•    This is not used as a replacement for regular school swimming.
